The KEYTER Group Foundation continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, responsible mobility, and the development of our local communities by joining the Andalusian Greenways Association (AVVA).
This membership represents a new opportunity to promote initiatives that connect people, communities, and sustainability, highlighting the value of greenways as spaces for sustainable mobility, physical activity, environmental education, and the development of our local communities.
The Greenway: an opportunity to promote sustainable mobility.
The proximity of KEYTER Group’s industrial facilities to the Vía Verde del Aceite (Olive Oil Greenway), particularly in the Lucena area, provides an opportunity to promote new and more sustainable ways of travelling.
At the KEYTER Group Foundation, we aim to encourage and facilitate the use of sustainable modes of transport among the Group’s employees, promoting alternatives to private vehicles for journeys that can take advantage of the connection to the Greenway.
The aim is to turn the proximity of our facilities to this natural environment into an opportunity to adopt healthier and more environmentally friendly mobility habits, particularly through cycling and walking whenever conditions allow.
In this way, the Greenway can become not only a space for leisure and physical activity, but also a sustainable mobility corridor connected to business activity and our local area.
Sustainability as part of our everyday lives
Sustainability is part of the DNA of KEYTER Group and the Foundation. Our commitment to a more sustainable future goes beyond developing more efficient technological and energy solutions.
We also want to bring these principles into the everyday lives of the people in our community, promoting habits that help reduce environmental impact while encouraging a healthier lifestyle.
The proximity of our facilities to the Greenway allows us to develop initiatives to raise awareness, provide information, and encourage our employees to use sustainable mobility alternatives, as well as organise activities related to cycling, sport, nature, and environmental education.
A Greenway connecting people and communities
Joining AVVA marks the beginning of a new area of collaboration that we will progressively develop through a range of initiatives and activities.
We aim to work alongside AVVA, public authorities, associations, and other organisations in our community to highlight the value of the Vía Verde del Aceite (Olive Oil Greenway) and harness its full potential as a space for sustainable mobility, bringing people together, healthy activities, and connection with our local area.
A Greenway is much more than a path: it is an opportunity to connect people, businesses, nature, and communities.
At the KEYTER Group Foundation, we want to help make the Vía Verde del Aceite part of an increasingly sustainable way of travelling, enjoying our surroundings, and connecting with them.
