An initiative that brings reading into the workplace, featuring a discussion with writer Lidia Caro Leal on 20 October.
The KEYTER Group Foundation is taking part in Books to the Factories 2026, an initiative promoted by the Manuel Fernández “Lito” Foundation to encourage a love of reading in the workplace.
Books to the Factories was created in response to the high percentage of people in Spain who do not read, with approximately 40% of the population reporting that they never read. Its aim is to bring reading into a key part of adult life: the workplace, where people spend a significant amount of their time and which is often far removed from the kinds of stimuli that encourage them to immerse themselves in books. Over the years, the initiative has expanded its reach across a range of industries, including the energy, chemical, textile, and agricultural sectors, establishing itself as a meeting point between culture and the world of work.
As part of this year’s edition, the KEYTER Group Foundation is offering employees of KEYTER, INTARCON, GENAQ and KICONEX the opportunity to take part in a discussion with writer Lidia Caro Leal, who will present her work No entrar con llamas to the teams. The event will take place on 20 October 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the KEYTER Group Training Room.
This initiative brings together two of the KEYTER Group Foundation’s areas of activity: Culture and Heritage, by facilitating access to culture and literary outreach, and Corporate Social Responsibility, by connecting the Group’s social commitment with the well-being and personal enrichment of the people who work across its companies.
An initiative that brings reading into employees’ everyday lives, right in the workplace.
Through its participation in Books to the Factories, the KEYTER Group Foundation reaffirms its commitment to initiatives that enrich people beyond their professional lives and contribute to the well-being and cultural development of its community.
